PLANNING BOARD BACKS 283-UNIT PROJECT.(Local)

Byline: Vincent Jackson Staff writer

After an hour of comments from audience members expressing their concern about the 283-unit Schuyler Landing project specifically and development in the town generally, the Planning Board unanimously approved the project.

The project is proposed for about 218 acres at 102 Spring Street Road near Siena College.

It will include 23 estate mansions, 96 "midluxury" town houses, 20 "high luxury" town houses, 74 single- family houses and 70 courtyard single-family houses in a cluster arrangement.

This was the last chance town residents had for a say about the project and they made themselves heard.
