Creating a new park and eliminating an alleged health hazard are two items on the agenda of Monday's City Council meeting.
Representatives of the Save-the- Carousel Committee will present their plan to locate the Kaydeross Park merry-go-round on a Spring Street site now used as a municipal parking lot. The city took responsibility for the antique ride after purchasing it with public funds last fall. The carousel must have a permanent home before it can be fully restored.
